Partnership Educators,

What a fantastic first week back.   It was great seeing many of you this week at the schools and connecting with you about your time off.  Loved spending time with many of you on Monday as well.  It is a privilege to have the opportunity to spend time with you and catch up because you all make a difference in my life.   I truly appreciate knowing you.

I had the opportunity to go to the Redding Identity Project announcement yesterday. John O'Leary was the speaker at the event and I cried and laughed and was inspired.  John was burned on 100% of his body at 8 years old and came out with the attitude of a champion.  But he tells the story of a person who committed to doing more.   Jack Buck, the St. Cardinals announcer, made a decision to answer the question, "What more can I do?"  John says that Jack saved his life.  I encourage you to watch the below videos to be inspired by his story.

This story reminds me of the daily commitment that we make towards all of our students within our schools.  Thanks for getting up each day, making connections with your wards, and inspiring them to keep moving forward.  I know that you always answer the question, "What more can I do?"   Continue to look for ways to figure out what that more might look like for each of our students.

Have an inspired weekend,
Rob
