It is with great pleasure that I have the ability to deliver stories each week. The stories of our lives are intertwined with the story of our district. Moments of elation and extreme happiness can be followed by moments of sorrow.

It is with great pleasure that I bring a moment of joy. Congratulations to Brittany Shafer for being chosen as Counselor of the Year. Thanks, Brittany for all that you do to bring experiences to our students that help to guide their future stories.
I was able to make it to most schools this week and talk with many of you. It was great seeing you all again. The challenges that we all face are easier to bear as a collective group. Always remember that we are in this together by giving grace and using kindness. Thanks to all who step up and pitch in to fill those gaps as we continue to serve our families and our community. You are all making a difference. We Dare to Dream for our students.
Enjoy this spring-like weekend. We can only hope that someday we do get rain.
