SUNBUCKS FOR THE SUMMER

 

β˜€ SUN Bucks: Extra Summer Food Funds!
Sun Bucks (Summer EBT) applications are available!
Each eligible child can receive $120 on a SUN Bucks card. Families can use SUN Bucks to buy
food at most grocery stores, farmer's markets, and other authorized retailers!


πŸ“… The Deadlines
● Apply NOW until August 31, 2026 for summer 2026 Sun Bucks.


βœ… Do I Need to Apply?
● NO: If your student already receives benefits like CalWORKs, CalFresh or Medi-Cal at
or below 185 percent of the Federal Poverty Level, you are automatically enrolled and
you will receive your students SUN Bucks card in the mail beginning in June.
● YES: If your student does not receive other benefits, they may still qualify based on
household income. If you have students in the home who aren't automatically covered,
please fill out an application! If you aren’t sure if your student is eligible, or if they will
be automatically enrolled, fill out an application!

● Online: Download the application below
● In-Person: Pick up an application at your school's front office.
● Submit: Return completed forms to your school's front office or email the completed
form to [email protected]
