The Redding School District is committed to providing a safe, inclusive educational environment free from discrimination, harassment, intimidation, or bullying based on race, color, or national origin, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. The District encourages students, parents, or guardians to report incidents—verbally or in writing—within six months and offers a formal complaint process through its Uniform Complaint Procedures (UCP). Investigations are initiated within ten business days and concluded within sixty calendar days, with appropriate corrective actions taken if violations are found. Retaliation against complainants or participants in investigations is strictly prohibited, and supportive measures are available to affected individuals.
