Partnership Educators,
On Thursday we celebrated Constitution Day.  It is a time to reflect on the founding of this nation and the time that has passed since the signing of this historical document.  When the Constitution was signed, the United States population was 4 million.  It is now more than 320 million.  Philadelphia was the nation's largest city, with 40,000 inhabitants.  Many of those founding authors of this great document watched their fledgling country change as they helped build better ways forward.
I remember my first days as a teacher on Manzanita's campus back in 1990.  When I reflect back, I too can say that times have changed within education and our district.   Below you will see a link to a video that celebrates our staff who are reveling in their years of service that has helped us grow as a public school system.  I invite you to watch the video and celebrate with them.
Congratulations to you all and thanks for your years of service to our community.
Enjoy your weekend everyone,
Rob
