Message from the Superintendent

Robert J AdamsOn behalf of the Redding School District Board of Trustees and the staff of the District, I would like to express my sincere appreciation and gratitude for investing in our future. Our teachers and support staff work hard and are dedicated to the success of our students, but it can't be done without facilities that are clean, safe and functional. As many of you know, most of our schools are outdated and major upgrades and renovations need to be made. Although our schools have been well maintained over the years, they are old. Faced with outdated classrooms and the need to bring school facilities up to current standards, the Board of Trustees unanimously decided to place Measure B, a school improvement general obligation (G.O.) bond measure, on the June 5, 2018 ballot to modernize and renovate our aging schools. Measure passed with 63% of the vote! We are anxious to get to work investing these dollars into our schools. Plans are being developed and we expect to start our first projects later this fall.

Thank you once again for your support!

Robert J Adams
